Since I don't keep a journal, I thought this might be a fun attempt to record the goings on in the Carroll Family, more for my benefit than anyone elses. My memory seems to be fading more the older I get. I really have the best family in the whole world, as you will see.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope you had a great Christmas, we sure did. Brett, Layne, Kurt and Shay spent Christmas Eve with us and the rest of the family showed up Christmas day. We had a big Christmas dinner (including the traditional orange rolls). We played new Christmas games and put together the always popular Christmas Eve puzzle, played ping pong on the new table the kids gave us, and just totally enjoyed each others company.

ISN'T IS STRANGE THAT WE GET TONS OF PICTURES OF THE LITTLE ONES AND DON'T SEEM TO GET ENOUGH OF THE BIG KIDS (SORRY, I'LL TAKE SOME MORE AND ADD THEM LATER)


WE GAVE MEG A FEW NEW BOWS (IMAGINE THAT)

We spent the day after Christmas doing a little 4-wheeling, sledding, pulling snowboarders behind the 4-wheeler, and skeet shooting. It sure was cold!!! I spent quite a bit of time keeping the truck warm.

I made quite a few new year's resolutions and haven't kept even one yet. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
